Joe’s Crab Shack Reports Snow Crab as 2008 Election Front-Runner

WHAT: Heading into the final weeks of the “America’s Favorite Crab” campaign, Joe’s Crab Shack’s poll is showing the Snow Crab as the early leader and favorite flavored candidate for the 2008 election. Early polling started Sept. 29 when Joe’s began asking diners to select their favorite crab – Snow or Dungeness. In addition to marking the ballot for their chosen crab, consumers also can customize their crab with any of the following conservative or liberal flavors: Steamed, Spicy Boil, Chesapeake Style, Garlic Herb, Joe’s Famous BBQ, New Fire‐Grilled or the New Smoked Chile. Joe’s also offers the Flag Freeze, a winning combination of patriotic red, white and blue layers of Strawberry Daiquiri, Frozen Margarita and Blue Curacao. As the battle between crabs continues, consumers can find the latest polling information on Joe’s Web site with up‐to‐the‐minute results until November 9.
